Project 2025, is a phonebook-sized document put together by a coalition of conservative interest groups and think tanks under Heritage Foundation’s guidance. It seeks to establish the policy agenda for what they hope to be a 2024 Republican presidential election victory.
Donald Trump just disavowed any connection to Project 2025 in a Facebook post 2-hours ago.
On page 589 of ‘Project 2025’ (out of 920) there was a call for mandatory time-and-a-half pay for Sunday work. It also referenced Sunday as the Sabbath, while acknowledging that others regard Saturday as the Sabbath day.
Some Adventists (Dreadventists) were convinced that this nomenclature meant that Trump et al were in the early stages of implementing a Sunday law. In any case, Trump just disavowed any connection to Project 2025.
It should be noted that his daughter and son-in-law keep the Bible Sabbath.
We’ll see what happens.
