We live in a strange world of plastic people and relationships.
You don't like your hair color--change it. You don't like your spouse--change them. You don't like being a man--then be a girl. You don't like being a girl--be a man. You don't like being human--turn beast.
Ok, I made that last one up, but only PARTLY! Peter and Jude said that some people in their day had become brute beasts (2 Peter 2:12; Jude 10) indicating that there would be more of it in the future, with Jude calling them ungodly sinners against whom the Lord would execute Godly judgment (Jude 15).
It is my prediction that we will have people becoming animals in a few short years. You don't like being a scruffy man-child living in Dad's basement? You can move to the barn, and become GoatBoy. After all, for people who tire of the human condition, what could be more relaxing than trotting around the farm, eating grass and living in the moment? Odd, you say? When you consider all the advantages, it's almost odder to NOT want to become a goat. But I digress.
The real issue is that people are looking for a solution to the human condition. Failing to yield to converting power of God--the real solution to the human condition--people try to escape reality by altering their true identity and pretending to be genuine. But, outside of Christ you are not genuine, just genuinely deceived and genuinely lost.
Thus, we have plastic people, exchanging beauty for ashes. We have a new civilization emerging, with a new language, a new law, and a new “lord.” That calls for a new conversion, a substitutionary New Birth experience. In some circles they call this "Coming out." It is a false 'born again' experience.
Many Christians have been tricked into accepting this agenda – through a false appeal to “equality.” Why, even in some Christian colleges, you can find people celebrating this false conversion, calling it "courage, truth and love." Sexual deviancy is thus worshiped at the altar of human devising. No time for repentance, or appetite for self denial? Just "Be You." After all, you are the center of the universe, you are the demigod of your own destiny.

“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Revelation 3:19-22).
