The Ardmore, OK church in a business meeting voted unanimously to reject "official" statements that have been made by ADCOM and a few select church leaders. Such authority has never been given to a small group of administrators to speak authoritatively on what the whole church body believes. Only delegates from around the world in a properly called General Conference Session can issue statements by the world church. Any part of the church that presumes to speak for the whole church must give the church an opportunity to have their voice heard.

This is a great thing. Churches and Conferences around the world ought to do likewise.
