We want to inform you about a meeting that you can join to help your church write a letter to the GC regarding the AdCom Vax Statement and other statements.
Please read this information and join the zoom meeting this Thursday 12-19-24 at 6:30pm Pacific Daylight Time. Join Zoom Meeting.
This issue is bigger than Ron Kelly and Conrad Vine. It is also bigger than the vax statement. This problematic statement is what woke a lot of us up, as many church members have been and are being persecuted for going against it.
The issue is that this statement is under BELIEFS on our official website ([adventist.org]. The problem with this is that our health message (according to ADCOM who issued this statement) is now apparently based on the Bible, the inspired writings of Ellen White, AND peer-reviewed science.
This is elevating peer-reviewed science (fallible, changeable, uninspired) to the same level as the Bible and Ellen White.
A Troubling History
If you're wondering how we could get to this point, you only need to look back to 2009. In that year, Adventist Health had a joint conference in Geneva with the World Health Organization. We are the first and only denomination that WHO has actively engaged with. Peter Landless was involved, the same Peter Landless who is still claiming that the Covid jab is safe and effective.
At that conference, WHO and Adventist Health wrote a joint statement that was subsequently voted on by GC ADCOM in October 2009. In that statement they wrote:
"Through its ministry of preaching, teaching, healing, and discipling, the Church seeks to represent the mission of Jesus Christ in such a way as to be:
Regarded globally as teaching a wholistic model of EVIDENCE BASED healthful living in primary health care.
Seen at all times as a trusted, transparent ALLY of organizations with compatible goals and vision, in alleviating suffering and addressing basic health and well-being.” [This last point is referring to the WHO.]
In reporting on this conference the NAD (North American Division) said that this alliance between Adventist Health and WHO meant "the church's international network could help WHO better implement the U.N. Millennium Development Goals."
Friends, this is about our church aligning with the world and helping it achieve its agenda. Somewhere along the way, church leaders decided that they could make the church more ‘popular’ by aligning with godless organizations like the United Nations (which is two parts corrupt and one part incompetent) and the World Health Organization with its weird ties to Bill Gates.
Though many of ADCOM’s Statements have an unsettling political flavor, the 2015 vaccination statement is one statement listed under SDA beliefs that uses science as a primary source of inspiration. There are others.
If this information disturbs you, there is a fairly successful campaign (SDAPEARL) that provides an avenue for Adventist laity to do something to stand for truth, liberty and righteousness through the mechanism of the congregational business meeting. It helps create reformation, revival and true unity in the Church. More information can be found at SDA PEARL.
